Drummond Street: Season of Spice — featured in The Guardian

--

We we’re recently featured in the Observer about our upcoming 6-month campaign led by Sauce Communications to promote and preserve Drummond Street, which we’re calling the Season of Spice!

To kick-off the Season of Spice, we are throwing a Drummond Street party on the 29th July, 6–11pm, to celebrate the culture, music, creativity and above all cuisines of this unique destination. The street will be pedestrianised for the evening to make way for outdoor festival furniture, free henna tattooing and Islamic calligraphy. There will also be plenty of music and Bollywood dancing to fill the air with festive celebrations. And most importantly, the fabulous restaurants are offering a specialty taster dish for just £5!

The Drummond Street Summer Sundowner is the first in a series of events, helping to reunite and celebrate this historic street in partnership with Euston Town BID, Drummond Street traders, Jan Kattein Architects and Camden Council.

Stay tuned for more announcements about the Season of Spice, including a new mural in Starcross Yard inspired by the flavours of the street, as well as a Samosa Street Party and Diwali celebrations.
