#HumansofCamden — Neil Webb
“My first ever job was at Wellcome, I worked in their bar in Dartford as a teenager. Then, I worked for customs and excise. I was ready to leave after 20 years, so I worked in schools for a few years, but I got disillusioned. I felt the idea that my school was training youngsters just to pass exams and I thought that I wanted to do something I’m really interested in — museums. Wellcome is interesting to me because it encompasses everything, and they often look at what it means to be human, but in a way that combines life, science and art.”
